Frequently asked questions about the Licihof
Some of these answers are simply that we do not know. That is not an evasion but the correct answer as long as we have no verified information.
Frequently asked questions about the Licihof
How do I book the Licihof?
Through the Airbnb listing. That is where available dates, prices and terms are shown, and that is where the booking is made. This website does not take reservations.
Can I book directly on this website?
No. This website informs and refers to the Airbnb listing for the booking. The contact form is for questions; a message sent through it does not hold a date.
What does a stay cost?
The price is stated in the Airbnb listing. It is deliberately not repeated on this website: prices change, and a second place maintaining them would sooner or later be out of date.
How many people does the house sleep?
Up to 6 guests, across 3 bedrooms. That is stated in the Licihof's Airbnb listing; the exact distribution of beds beyond that is not known to us.
Is the Licihof suitable for families with children?
Yes. According to the Airbnb listing, two travel cots, a high chair, toys, books and board games are provided, along with a swing and a ride-on car, pedal tractor and go-kart in the garden. During the stay, the whole house and garden are exclusively available to guests.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. According to the Airbnb listing, pets and dogs are welcome. Binding conditions continue to be governed solely by the listing.
Is there internet access?
Yes. According to the Airbnb listing there is free high-speed WiFi via Starlink and a dedicated workspace — suitable for longer stays and workations too.
Is there parking?
Yes. According to the Airbnb listing, free parking is available directly at the house.
Where exactly is the Licihof, and how far is it to Talsi?
The Licihof is located in Lībagi in western Latvia (Kurzeme). According to the Airbnb listing, it is about a 12-minute drive to Talsi.
How far is it to the Baltic Sea?
About a 35-minute drive, according to the Licihof's Airbnb listing. That is a driving time, not a straight-line or road distance in kilometres.
Why are there so few figures on this website?
Because for many points we have no checked source. Writing down a plausible figure would be easy and wrong. As soon as verified details are available they will be added — the pages are prepared for that.
How does check-in work?
Contactless, via a lockbox. According to the Airbnb listing, an earlier check-in or later check-out is possible by arrangement, subject to availability.
Which season is best there?
That is for you to decide. The photographs cover all four seasons: rapeseed in bloom in spring, long evenings in summer, autumn leaves under the oaks, deep snow in winter. The gallery has a filter for this.
Where does the name Licihof come from?
From Līči, the Latvian name of the farmstead. A wooden sign with that lettering stands at the edge of the grounds. Licihof is the German form built from it; the wordmark sets Licihof and Talsi side by side.
Are the pictures genuine?
Yes. They are exclusively the property's own photographs, taken between 2015 and 2025. Purchased stock images that were present in the old media library have been removed, as have pictures with recognisable people.
Is the house accessible?
We have no verified information on this — not about steps, door widths or thresholds. The photographs show a flight of steps to the entrance. If you depend on particular conditions, please ask before booking.
